The Healthcare Clinic Leader will enhance operational efficiencies, mentor staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and uphold high standards in practice management. This position will oversee Salud Medical Center and Pacific Pediatrics, located less than half a mile apart. Position Highlights

  • Salary: $112,589-$174,514 DOE.
  • Bonuses Totaling $11,000:
  • At Hire: $3,300.00
  • At 6 months: $4,400.00
  • At 12 months: $3,300.00
  • Bonus will be pro-rated based on Full Time Equivalency (FTE).

What You'll Do

  • Manage two or more clinics (medical, dental, pharmacy) with 45 to 100 FTEs, handling encounters and an expense budget of $7-16 million.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train direct report staff, providing ongoing performance management while addressing issues promptly.
  • Facilitate staff growth, supporting educational opportunities beyond mandatory training.
  • Lead recruitment and selection initiatives for staff and Providers, providing thorough orientation on job expectations and policies.
  • Maintain a collaborative and inclusive work environment valuing diverse perspectives.
  • Oversee daily operations for Medical and Dental Providers and Pharmacy staff.
  • Support front office and supervisory staff in management and performance effectiveness.
  • Ensure overall clinical operations optimize best practices in patient-centered care.
  • Promote high standards in practice management through standardized policies and protocols.
  • Manage health plan quality metrics aligned with organizational goals and strategic plans.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, Meaningful Use, NCQA, UDS, and state/federal regulations.
  • Foster customer relations, addressing patient complaints, and promoting satisfaction.
  • Build community ties to advance YVFWC’s mission and identify service expansion opportunities.
  • Responsible for budgeting and managing financial variances for service lines.
  • Drive operational changes and improvements within the clinic.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration and 5 years of supervisory experience in healthcare, OR Master’s Degree and 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Valid Driver's License with proof of automobile liability insurance.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Familiarity with Oregon State Basic Health Plans and Community Health Centers.
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and communication abilities.
  • Proficient with patient information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of medical/dental office operations preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred.
