Housekeeper | Floor Care Specialist | Nursing Home

Part-time Housekeeper with floor stripping and waxing experience needed for a skilled nursing facility. 3 days per week. Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.

Pay Rate: $24.65 per hour

Schedule: 3 days per week; must have flexible schedule; every other weekend required.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team! As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for both our residents and staff. You will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the facility are cleaned to the highest standards.

Key Housekeeping Responsibilities

• Clean with a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all areas are spotless.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout designated areas of the facility.
• Ensure all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
• Remove trash and soiled linens from rooms and common areas.
• Clean residents' personal equipment, such as wheelchairs, to ensure hygiene and safety.

Housekeeper Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds.
• Ability to work as a team player and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Solid work ethic with a strong initiative for quality and customer service.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Floor Tech Experience / Stripping & Waxing Experience a plus!
• Must be consistent and adhere to the schedule.
• Must be able to work in the United States.
• Must meet the requirements of the Department of Health.
• Must have experience with floor care, including stripping, waxing, and buffing floors to maintain safety and appearance.
