Your work will touch patients across the entire lifespan—from neonates and pediatrics through adolescents, adults, and older adults.

## What You'll Do

You'll deliver direct and indirect patient care using the full nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the operating room environment. Your role involves coordinating patient care closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists, directing and guiding OR Technicians and other personnel while upholding professional nursing standards. You'll work collaboratively across departments to ensure continuity of care, maintain efficient patient flow, and keep your unit organized and well-maintained. Performance improvement participation, attending unit meetings and in-services, and serving as a resource to your colleagues are all part of the position. You're responsible for adhering to all regulations, standards, hospital policies, and unit procedures.

You must hold a current and valid state RN license. Several certifications are required: Current BLS (AHA) certification must be in place upon hire and maintained throughout your employment. You'll need to obtain Current ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and keep it current, along with Current PALS (AHA) certification, also required within 30 days and maintained ongoing.

Minimum of one year of previous perioperative experience is required, or you may qualify through on-the-job training. While not required, a Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification through AORN is preferred. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is also preferred but not mandatory.
