Endo Tech

Piedmont Healthcare

## Position Overview

We're looking for an Endo Tech to join our Endoscopy Department at Piedmont Newton Hospital. You'll work on a 4/9 schedule, which means four nine-hour days per week. Your hours will be either 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. In addition to your regular schedule, you'll have on-call responsibilities from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM Monday through Friday and 24-hour on-call coverage on weekends.

## What You'll Do

You'll be an essential part of our endoscopy team, assisting physicians during endoscopic procedures and ensuring our department runs smoothly. Your day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining supplies and equipment in proper working order, cleaning and disinfecting equipment according to unit and hospital policy, and providing appropriate patient care to ambulatory care and endoscopy patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

Beyond direct patient support, you'll handle clerical duties to ensure optimal function of both ambulatory care and endoscopy operations. This includes assembling and maintaining patient chart materials, managing records and files, keeping your workstation organized and clean, and completing patient charges.

## What We're Looking For

You'll need a high school diploma or equivalent at minimum. Ideally, you'll have a background as a GI/OR Technology program graduate or have completed a CNA/MA program. Current AHA BLS Certification is required by law for this position.

Previous experience as a Unit Secretary or as a CNA/MA is preferred. If you have prior experience working in an endoscopy setting, that's a valuable advantage. We're seeking someone reliable and detail-oriented who can manage both clinical and administrative tasks effectively.

## Compensation

This full-time position offers $24.00 per hour.
