Your role includes warmly welcoming patients, managing their appointments, maintaining precise records, and providing essential administrative support. You will also play a crucial role in obtaining authorizations and navigating insurance-related processes to enhance the delivery of healthcare services.

What You'll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical assistant certificate program completion preferred.
- 1+ years of experience as a medical receptionist/administrative assistant in healthcare.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Availability to travel to different JAG locations as needed.
What You'll Do
- Welcome patients and visitors to the medical office with a friendly demeanor.
- Assist patients by answering questions and providing directions.
- Handle all incoming calls to the general office number.
- Use medical office software to schedule both new and follow-up appointments.
- Register new patients and ensure their records are up to date.
- Provide patients with necessary forms and assist in completing them accurately.
- Collect patient financial responsibilities daily.
- Maintain confidentiality for all patient records.
- Manage insurance verifications, authorizations, and referrals.
- Knowledge of Workers' Compensation and Auto claim submissions is a plus.
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned.
