Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and be able to provide high-quality patient care across various settings. This role involves working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, ensuring optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities
Seeing patients with physical injuries.
Evaluating patients for physical therapy needs.
Referring patients for physical therapy.
Advantage if worked on Workers Comp patients
Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of patients.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
Perform diagnostic evaluations, including ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and imaging studies.
Administer medications, including IV infusions, injections, and other treatments as necessary.
Provide acute pain management and perform procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and spinal taps.
Manage chronic conditions and provide education on disease prevention and health promotion.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in various settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, assisted living facilities, and home care environments.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
Provide telehealth services as needed to enhance patient access to care.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field from an accredited institution.
Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
Experience in critical care, emergency medicine, or internal medicine preferred.
Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner is highly desirable.
Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and medical terminology.
Strong knowledge of patient assessment techniques and clinical procedures including IV insertion, phlebotomy, and basic life support.
Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as Level I or II trauma centers.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
