Ancillary/Environmental Services Healthcare Worker

We are an Ambulatory Surgical Center seeking an experienced Healthcare Ancillary/Environmental Services Custodial applicant to join the team. We prefer that the Healthcare Ancillary/Environmental Services Custodial applicant have Ambulatory Surgery Center experience however, we are willing to train the right candidates. Daily custodial duties vary, and often contain evaluation, preparation, and implementation of procedures at the Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Duties & Responsibilities include

• Ancillary staff member with help anesthesiologist
• Ancillary staff member will clean rooms between cases
• Ancillary staff member will transport patients to and from the OR
• Ancillary staff member will stock the OR with equipment
• Ancillary staff member should maintain clean floors and stock refrigerators
• Ancillary staff member will clean beds
• Ancillary staff member will make beds between cases
• Ancillary staff member will transport patients from lobby to pre-op area
• Ancillary staff member will wipe all equipment down

Qualifications

• Full Time Position
• Aware of HIPAA laws
• General knowledge of medical documents
• General knowledge of sterile technique

• 2-3+ years of related experience in the medical field

• Able to function in a fast paced out-patient environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
