Key Responsibilities of the MedSurg/Oncology Travel Nurse:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients across medical-surgical and oncology units
• Administer medications, chemotherapy (if certified), treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and communicate findings to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, oncology specialists, and interdisciplinary staff
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies

Requirements of the Medsurg/Oncology Travel Nurse:

• Active New York RN license (or eligibility to obtain).
• 2 year Medsurg/Oncology nursing experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational, and communication skills.
