PCU/Stepdown RN – Job Summary (Auto Offer)

Contract: 13 weeks | Auto Offer

Shift: Night 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend

Experience: 2+ years PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown required

Facility: Level II Trauma (Level I & Teaching experience preferred)

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Must-Have Skills

Strong LVAD experience (required)

Cardiac & insulin drip titration

Neuro assessments

Ratio: 1:4 (acuity-based)

Patient Population

Heart, lung, kidney transplant patients

Heart failure, pulmonary HTN (IV prostacyclin)

LVAD, trach/vented, multi-organ conditions

Stroke, TBI, ICH, spinal injuries, neurosurgical cases

Drug overdose/ingestion cases

Responsibilities

Frequent neuro monitoring (q2 hrs), suctioning, turning

Manage complex cardiac & critical care patients
