Licensed Vocational Nurse - LVN - In Home Shift Care

Location: Los Angeles, CA (90049)
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (36 hours/week)
Compensation: $32 – $36 + per hour based on experience

About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable female LVN to provide one-on-one care for a 25-year-old male with developmental conditions. While the patient is ambulatory and not bed-bound, he requires a "strong" caregiver to assist with safety and mobility as needed. Due to the nature of his developmental needs, candidates with a background in pediatric nursing are highly encouraged to apply, as this experience often aligns well with his specific care requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care and monitoring in a private home setting.

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) for an ambulatory patient with developmental disabilities.

• Manage medications and provide therapeutic support tailored to the patient’s unique developmental profile.

• Maintain a safe, engaging environment for the patient during 12-hour shifts.

Requirements

• License: Current California LVN license in good standing.

• Certification: Current BLS/CPR certification.

• Experience: Previous experience with developmental disabilities and/or a strong pediatric background is preferred.

• Physical Ability: Must be physically strong to ensure patient safety and support during ambulation.

• Attributes: Reliability, compassion, and the ability to work independently.
