Home Health Aide (HHA) Multiple NYC Locations

We are seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide essential care to individuals in need within their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for those requiring assistance with daily living activities.

We are hiring across Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Administer medication under the direction of a nurse or healthcare provider
• Help with household chores and meal preparation
• Monitor and report changes in client's health status
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided

Requirements

• Experience in assisted living, home care, or similar settings
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
• Ability to perform tasks such as vital signs monitoring and medication administration
• Understanding of dementia care practices is a plus
• Compassionate attitude towards individuals with developmental disabilities

Qualifications

• Current New York State HHA Certificate
• Fluency in English required; Spanish, Creole or Bilingual (English/Spanish) (English/Creole) a plus.
